Why you need a coach
“Phil’s coaching gave me new perspectives and practical tools that made a real difference. I always left sessions feeling lighter, clearer, and more hopeful. Highly recommended.”
Life catalysts – for example leaving university or losing a loved one – force choices.
The emotional toll can hijack our ability to make decisions that are truly our own.
Having someone coach you through it can make all the difference.
I empower people to live with purpose and integrity no matter what life throws at them. I do this by providing a space for thinking deeply.
I call this Contemplative Coaching.

My values as a coach
I hold integrity and humility as the two core values of my coaching practice. I am transparent with what can be expected in my coaching sessions, who I am accountable to, and the ethical frameworks I am held accountable by. I am an affiliate member of the EMCC and hold to the Global Code of Ethics for Coaches, Mentors, and Supervisors.
You are the focus of each coaching session and the sessions are therefore directed by you, your goals, and your interests.
A session with me is non-judgemental and non-directive - meaning that I will not lead you to conclusions based on what I think is right or wrong. You have the agency to make and own your decisions.
Coaching is a powerful tool for raising self-awareness, building confidence and resilience, and helping you own the goals and decisions that matter most to you.
I believe in the importance of rest and time for self-reflection so that whatever needs to be done is coming from your values and purpose, and not from a place of stress.
“I’d never considered getting coaching before working with Phil, but he was such a good listener and the questions he asked were so pertinent that he helped to think through issues that I’d been stuck for years.”
